Used Carburetors

Chuck Nuytten Carburetors also services and modifies used carburetors.  Please remember when you send a used carburetor for us to modify, you are starting with a used unit.  Do not expect a new looking carburetor in return.  In the majority of cases the appearance will be greatly improved.  If you have reasonable expectations, then you will be pleased.  If appearance is your first concern, then do not start with a used carburetor.

If you decide to have you used carburetor done, be extremely careful when packing and shipping the unit to us.  Place the carburetor in a large enough box with proper packing material to protect it from shipping damage.  If shipping more than one carburetor, place each one in its own box.  Fuel fittings should be left in the bowls to protect the inlets.  If you fail to put fittings in the bowls, then they will be installed and billed to you.

Please enclose the necessary specifications so that the carburetor(s) can be customized for your application.  Use the What Chuck needs to Know form as a reference of what Chuck would like to know about your combination.  Please indicate the labor number that you desire.  Also include your phone number, and credit card information as prepayment is required before any used carburetors are started.  Remember the price of labor does not include parts.  Parts and kits are an additional cost depending on individual needs.
 
Tech Tip:  Alcohol carburetors and fuel systems must be cleaned and serviced frequently to keep them performing consistently.  A good way to do this is by using a quality top oil for easy maintenance.  We recommend Klotz.
